A good and very heavy London-made wall clock from just after the middle of the 19th century, with an 8-day movement striking on a bell.

The carving to the oak case is of top quality and very confidently done. The movement has been recently overhauled and is, of course, guaranteed. The bell's sound is very similar to that of a longcase clock; indeed, the bell is identical to those fitted to tall clocks.
